Swivel up only one eighth of an inch (pencil does not retract to avoid exposing formula to air, which is drying). Line eyes. Allow colour to set for 60 seconds to ensure transfer-resistance. Begin at lash roots. Wiggle brush so lashes get between the bristles. To apply to lower lashes, hold wand vertically. Do not pump brush in container as this adds air that can dry out the mascara. To prevent clumping, let mascara dry between coats. Remove with eye makeup solvent.
